  5. I also like Catherine Cookson, I met her two months ago. I am polish, through the corona virus, I got to know the fragments of her work.

    It makes an impression, especially descried social relationships, realities of life and expressive characters. Delicious!

  6. I live in Catherine Cookson country in Northeast England and we still use the slang words said on here. Its great to hear about the places i was brought up.

  11. Certainly one of Catherine Cookson's very best stories. Very well dramatized. Always love Robson Green. It has been a long time since I read the book and first saw this movie but well worth watching again.
