  1. the mall is pointless with Amazon around. The 2 casinos are frequented by people going back to California on the way back… other than that it's truly depressing

  2. I remember in the mid 70’s when the only casino on that spot was Cactus Kate’s. There was a tower that looked like a radio station tower.
Across the 15 was a single story Whiskey Pete’s with a giant spotlight that you could see when your coming down the Nipton grade.

  3. Ah, I have vague memories of this. We might've stopped here. I remember a lot of places like this out in the desert, roadtripping as a kid with my grandparents, between Tahoe, Reno, and Vegas, in the Chevy van conversion. I remember glass elevators like that, interiors that drew you in with their various attractions, and of course the arcades, where us kids spent most of our time. Thanks a lot.

  4. ridiculous that the whole country is locked down, will be hard to recover and all for a virus with a mortality rate of less than 1%, great job on the video!!

  5. My old truck driving days were frequented coming home from cali to vegas having to pass through Primm, memories 😁

  6. Wow that mall used to be so busy, I used to go there lots in the early 2000s!
Great video, brings back memories from when I used to live in Vegas.

  7. Every year we visit Zion National Park, and every time in the last 10 years we stop to take a break from driving before heading back to Fullerton, and we shop at the Gap. Since I hate crowds, it's pretty chill for me, but it's true it's a dying mall, the food court is empty.

  8. The narrator says the train (monorail?) from Whisky Pete's to Buffalo Bills hasn't run in decades – but my wife and I boarded it to visit the outlet mall while on an overnight stay at Whisky Pete's in or around 2014.

  9. Like you mentioned, the reason they changed the name from Primadonna to Prim Valley was due to the murder of the 7 year old girl. It happened in the bathroom next to the downstairs arcade/bowling alley. Poor thing. Her name is Sherrice Iverson for those interested in looking up the whole story. RIP little girl, you deserved better.

  10. I stopped for the night at Whiskey Pete's because I remembered the cafe being really good and found…..McDonalds. I'll never stop there again.

  11. So annoying the coaster us never open. The mall is near empty but was a few decent shops in there last year but nothing compared to ones in LA

  12. Was driving truck in the late 70's and use to stop at Whiskey Pete's for fuel. Just a one story motel out of a horror movie and small casino at the time and across I-15 was another small place with an oil derrick tower for a sign and a pretty fair coffee shop. The good old days.

  13. during the catholic lent season, this mall was the place where I ended my fasting, Easter Sunday, I could have cocktails, red meat, dessert… before heading to Vegas, what got me was, everyone that worked in the mall was so friendly, like you can tell they appreciate your business, so sad, GOD speed to you guys…

  14. Wow, last time I was in primm casino was almost 9 years ago. That mall has always been dead since I remember. Last time I went was about 5-6 years ago.

  15. You can thank the idiot Democrat Governor for shutting everything down, and killing all the casinos and businesses. The democrats are such power hungry scum, they don’t care how many people’s lives they destroy to try to make Trump look bad, and blame all this on him, when it’s THEM who did this.

  16. I went here many times with family from 1990s-2000. It's sad to see this place and businesses DESTROYED over politics and a fake virus. I hope these places come back…
